Edge 540 Crash

This was my TMPro Edge 540 EP that suffered a wing stall.
I am thinking of turning the remains into a Stick of some description...................

Well I do have to agree, I had had no joy at all with Extras & Edges..........Sukhoi me anyday...!!!!!

until the crash you flew it very well. sad ending to a beautifully finished model. with each new plane, on maiden I get it up 4 mistakes high and intentionally stall it to see which way it rolls, then if I unintentionally stall it later, I know which way to turn the stick to stop the roll and let airflow over the wing/tail build up so I can pull up.

Great looking plane, and it flew great until the last few seconds. LOL I am just starting, but like the SBach, Reactor, CAPs, Edges, and Extras on the simulator. I hope to be good enough to move to a balsa plane soon, but waiting on parts to complete a Multiplex Acromaster, and hope I can get good on that before moving to a balsa or Carbon-Z. I would rather fly, but can't help trying to build a few planes that I hope will be pretty crash resistent from plastic, aluminum, and foam.

you didnt loose total control, its called a high-speed stall. you were way too slow to pull out of the bottom on the loop and then you just pulled up the whole way to the ground. You should have let off the elevator and added throttle to break the stall, then pull out under power...its an EDGE, not a trainer
