  • Ella wasn't human!!!!

  • True, most of those singers got their training from the big bands and jazz combos ---- those were like conservatories. However, I think in her case, it's also raw, god-given talent.

  • 00:49 to 00:54...Holy shit!!!

  • Wow, auto-tune and lipsync all over the place! Why can't she sing live? Ugh!...I'm just kidding :-)

  • how old is ella here?? over 60, over 70?? and her voice sounds so youthful and fresh... dear lord...i love her :D

  • This is the first good video that hasn't gotten a dislike

  • @stevenrmc "swang"?

  • hers is just god given!

  • Bravo!!!

  • Wow, that must have been an experience.

I attended one of her last performances at the Hollywood Bowl --- where she fell of the stage. Well after a few minutes of recuperation, she came back --- by now, I had left the stands and was behind the Bowl's stage --- Well, she came back out and MANNN!!! and ofcourse, you know Ella's voice was amazingly CLEAR even at age 68 --- to hear her THAT CLOSE --- and she swang like the devil. Completed the show, you'd never know she fell --- too much.
