First installment in what I hope will be a series. If I fail and it doesn't become a series, well, I guess it's not exactly an installment.

  • Odd. I don't remember trying for or claiming any sort of analogy, just wordplay.

  • Yes, I must not. Tell us, what is wordplay, O great one, and how does this not count? Please tell us, because we're all too stupid to know simply because you say so, and you, as our all-knowing and powerful God, would know.

Fuck off. You're wrong, and that's all there is to it. There is no analogy, so it didn't fail. But apparently SOMETHING failed, because you say so. What is it? I failed to play with words?

When you imply you're the smart one, I don't believe you.

  • I like your imagination.

  • Simple country youths are analogous to naive city kids, the former inexplicably firing more appreciation triggers in naive minds. People who grow old in the countryside aren't simple folk by any stretch of the imagination. They tend to be cunning and twisted, yet stupid, those who resist this trend attaining a state closer to sainthood.

A rhetorician like you will appreciate that these aren't moral judgements on my part. No, they're the best adjectives I can think of to describe my subjects.
