Team Fortress Classic Gameplay

Team Fortress Classic is a mod for the original Half-Life.

Now, for a little background information...

Team Fortress started as a Quake mod. It was vastly popular for some time. After the TFC mod was created for Half-Life, its popularity grew and the game flourished for years. After the release of Half-Life 2, the game's community began to slow down and the amount of players decreased. People continue to play on servers today, though many just run bots.

In 2007, TF2 was released to much critical acclaim. I thought it was a great game, but today it is just a shell of what it used to be. A once fun game that was all about the action turned into a free-to-play game that nearly matches WoW with the amount of time people wasting getting useless things like hats on it. The "balancing" of the classes ruined the actual gaming aspect of it for me, and once the Mann-Conomy was introduced, I decided the game was no longer fun and stopped playing it.

And to think that a shitty sequel but not tf2 but tf2:brotherhood in arms is going to be released ,no rocket jumping,conc jumping,bunny hopping and other stuff,only 1 rocket for soldier.

@1787dude HWguy with a crowbar was always hilarious. It doesn't matter how good a person is, if a crazy guy with a crowbar suddenly appears in your face, you panic and retreat! The fact that your killers name would appear in the top, next to your name, next to a crowbar showing that yup, you got killed with a crowbar.... it was never a good moment.

I always loved the "bunker" feel of TFC maps with concrete everywhere. And TF2 art direction has become terrible since the introduction of those wacky hats.

@ickleoli lol, I used to play spy and hwguy, I remember both invovled me using the knife and crowbar alot.

@1787dude :-) Happy times. As a medic, i used to conc grenade suspicious dead bodies and watch as a very woozy spy went flying across the map.

My sniping days used to involve avoiding the flying medics, headshots to the HWguys and taking out the soldiers mid rocket jump. Ahhhh it brings back memories!
