Lol!! You really need to go back to whatever school you attended and demand your money back!! If it weren't for the French, we wouldn't be the free nation that we are!!! The French did give us the Statue of Liberty, though it had nothing to do with WW2 as someone else stated. It was dedicated in 1886.
