Louis Halamek, MD, director of the Center for Advanced Pediatric and Perinatal Education (CAPE), discussed on February 11, 2009, the production of a new Neontatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) video being co-produced with the American Academy of Pediatrics. CAPE, located at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford, utilizes simulation-based methodologies and cutting-edge technologies to enhance team performance in the neonatal, pediatric and obstetric domains. CAPE, founded in 2002, was the first facility of its type in the world.
