Part 2 of 2. Classic Game Room reviews CALL OF DUTY: WORLD AT WAR for the Xbox 360 video game console. This Call of Duty World at War review shows gameplay of this intense first person shooter. Footage of the game highlights the action and intensity of the gunfights and all out mayhem. This is actually Call of Duty 5 (or at least we think it is), and COD WAW (like WAWA!) is a WWII based FPS shooter game with excellent graphics, style and gameplay. The game has online multiplayer and co-op cooperative gameplay over Xbox Live. CGRHD loved the strategy required to play through parts of the game like the trenches in the Pacific campaign. World War 2 games have come a long way since 1999 when we reviewed the first Medal of Honor game on the Playstation, and this game launches you into Saving Private Ryan style action with several campaigns of war film inspired zany mayhem. Handheld style camera work, HDTV graphics and surround sound gunbattles round out the experience. We didn't care for the menus much, or the jumping around of the plotline/dates, but whatever. We're here to blow things up and use the flamethrower on anyone who gets in our path. Call of Duty: World at War is reviewed with the traditional Classic Game Room eye for detail and respect for games of the past, present and future. Call of Duty: World at War is also available on Playstation 3, if you compare the PS3 version vs. the Xbox 360 version we doubt you'll see much difference. Tanks make a return and they also have flame throwers attached to them now. Have a BBQ good time with COD World at War. Classic Game Rom is ill and show all kinds of mayhem in this Call of Duty game play!

  • call of duty 9 should be set in ww1 think about it instead of a chopper gunner you would get a biplane gunner or a blimp gunner and instead of an rc xd you would get a smart ass lion or cheetah (optional) that would be able to climb or jump to get to enemy's trying to hide in high places and you'll get to use weapons never seen in a first person shooter like the cei rigotti,mp 18,Benet-Mercie,mon dragon and other rifles<machineguns, tanks and armoured cars from that period .

  • for the next WWII CoD we need V1 rockets as a kill streak (like predator) and attacked dogs agian recon plane artillery morters, napalm bring back bayonets add diffrent cusomizable things like wrapping cloth around your gun and cusomize your soldier agian (like from black ops) make like a secret missions type like black ops but lean more to realism and tryarch should do it not IW

  • Why didn't you review Nazi Zombies!?!

  • there is no plane missio on wii how un fair

  • world war games always give an intensive feeling but modern warfare not so much

  • the only reason i dont play mario cart is cos there isnt a flamethrower

  • @jmantime it would be really good if cod 9 was set in ww1 because the fighting would be very different

youd also get to experience walking slowly at an enemy MG

  • @deekante yeah me too, a german campaign would be cool, and a mission where you habe to bomb pearl harbor as the japanese would be awesome too

  • I think this game should have included a musket, just for the humor.
