  • A sarong is tied around the waist, the one that goes over the shoulder is the sari.

  • This young lady is spending her time and energy to help you with the mechanics of clothing. In the west we use the sarong and sari as interchanable labels but get the gist of its function and variety of applications. My grandmother makes them for many people.

  • i found this very helpfull. i wear sarong like nearly all the time :D

  • very good thank is cool

  • Try it and see how it looks and if it's comfy. I haven't worn a sarong w/ jeans, but I have worn a triangular scarf with leggings to a dance/aerobics class and it looked good.

  • There's a HUUUUGE difference between a sarong and a sari... Being in the fashion industry I think she should know that or atleast point it out if it's a common mistake in the "west' to interchange the terms sari and sarong
