  • @Jugglable and so you descend into the same mire of self-salvation and try to climb the stairway to God that all other religions teach. Same lie Satan told Eve. You won't receive this so I won't caste any more pearls.

  • @kingcletusthecatfish Humans are very flawed, but works do play an important part in our salvation. This is why we are told to WORK OUT our salvation with fear and trembling. The only time the words "faith alone" appear in the Bible is in the context, "we are not saved by faith alone." We don't work our way to heaven or save ourselves--we are saved by God's grace, but we must respond to that grace with faith AND works.

  • @Jugglable (read below ) these are lies my friends. Jesus is unique among all other religions (falsely-so-called) including 'Christianity.' Jesus says - "you are man and you have sinned and you cannot make it right - even the good you do is full of wickedness, and I am God and I choose to do what you can't - I choose to lay my life and station down, to become like you and take on the wickedness you cannot pay so you can have my righteousness for free - those who believe in me will never die."

  • @Jugglable Past sins? I agree with everything up until that. How many of your sins were future when He hung on that cross? The reason religions - all man made religions including 99% of Christianity (like those who say "past sins" only were paid for - not even logical but I digress), islam, buddhism - they all say the path to perfection, to salvation is through self reformation from doing evil to doing good - that by purging oneself of evil you can attain perfect, rest, salvation, enlightenment.

  • How amazingly convenient that this is also an ideal system for maintaining political authority and keeping the masses docile and submissive.

Fortunate that most people don't take it seriously anymore.

  • Just having faith isn't enough.

"if I have all faith so as to move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing." ---St. Paul

He also mentioned God "keeping a list and checking it twice." God's forgiveness is total and he doesn't bear grudges. God's forgiveness of your sins is so complete that it's as if he has amnesia about your past sins.

  • 5 Stars!!

  • Don't use training to believe gods. Gods don't need training to be understood. Long before language exists, gods gave people capability understand them without training. When priest trained or got trained, they were blinded with names, labels, and duties that they created themselves. Avoid their set back because you are better off without those framing gods corruptions. You live to see gods, not die to see ghosts. Gods are not from ghosts.

  • Amen and Amen ...Only Jesus
