Nah common misconception I believed it when I first started toking then I looked into it and realised it was bullshit. I do hold in my vape bag hits though (i don't really smoke the ganja anymore) as I would think that amount of THC would take a little longer.. and holding it in wouldn't increase the risk of me getting bronchitis by much..

@Ste0wnz Not like 5 seconds is bad, and it makes it work better if you don't spit it out RIGHT AWAY, i'm not by any means saying ghosting it will get you higher, but you gotta know it's better to hold it in rather than spitting it out. It's even worse if you don't inhale more after you hit it. Or it just means you're a lightweight XD

Look it up, THC gets absorbed in a ridiculously short amount of time. Unlike salvia which on the other hand you need to hold that shit in.
