Platini as French coach offered Cantona to Souness saying he needed a club after this match. Rotten luck because even if he'd have flopped he still wouldn't have ended up with that lot

You just have to look at the movement of the Liverpool back for for the 2nd Auxerre goal to see they didn't have a clue what they were doing. Souness ruined that team in less than a year.

rem this like yesterday...getting the train about 6 30 got to the just on kick off...the noise sounded electric...which was bizarre when u see how many people turned up...howevr it was more than 17000 about 25000 plus if im correct just got in as peno was won...as for the rest wow....incredible.....number nicky tanner...haha
