  • ok dont down grade me just cos i dont know but... whats the difference between a yamaha R1 and R6? all i know is that 1 of them costs more i think? but there must be a bigger difference than that

thanks to who replys me :D

  • hey :) the difference is: the R1 have a "stronger" engine with 1000ccm (998) and the R6 with 600ccm (599) its totaly different to ride. thx for comment

  • i heard that actually the only difference between a 600cc and a 1000cc is that in a straight line its faster but a 600cc is faster in corners cos its lighter...so is it really worth buying a 1000cc?

  • thats right, finally its a matter of taste. ride both and then you know what you like and what you want :)

  • how much more does the R1 cost compaired to theR6?

  • Round 3000$ to the NEW R1

  • hate to say t but the paints "flip" takes away from the lines on the bike. should of used it as an accent in certain spots. just my opinion though, and if the person who payed for it likes it then other opinions like mine are worthless.

  • sorry for my bad english! where did you got this exhaust?

  • sorry for my bad english! where you got this exhaust?

  • @Royalty403 i guess when it comes down to it, it just depends wether youre more into the twisties or straight out flooring it down the straights haha

  • @Hardboi01 yea i know alot of guys that get rid of their 6's to buy a litre bike.. then only to purchase another 6 due to missing the agility in the corners. Definately more flickable in the corners in my opinion. then again a very intense rider woudl be able to put both bikes to the limit. And in that case and litre bike will always win still. unless you are tracking a 6 combines the benefits of light weight, agility and still great power to weight ratio.

    Just my $0.02

  • @Hardboi01 im driving the r6 with 25kw cause in my country we got beginners license and full license for the motors i had the r1 too i like the power it gives you in pulling up but the r6 is nice in corners gotta break less haha but ill be switching in a year to r1 since i can drive over 1000 cc then like pyro said it's about the taste you got you like too get sharp corners the r6 is nice you like full throttle r1 is good :3

  • @mer1316 nice comment! I think so too.

  • @Chrisspeeding im 16 lol i was just curious back then, one year ago haha now im far more well informed dont worry :)

  • @Hardboi01 you`re a TOTALLY BEGINNER or ? pls dont buy the R1, in my mind it`s hard to handle a bike with over 170horsepower for a beginner

  • @kernky are you sure the rims and paint didnt ruin it for you too, that thing looks like shit from the south
