  • This an amazing video

although the sound needs to be a bit louder.

I adore this band, and have been a huge fan of the Eurythmics as well. Annie and Dave have proved over and over to be non lesser than that of brilliant musicians.

would like to see Dave again and spend some more time with him as I did back so long ago <3 Great job on the video <3

  • Hi Robin, i heard about the sad news. I love The Tourists fan and respected your Dads song writing. In The Morning and All Lifes Tragedies are my favourite songs. God Bless Pete Coombes.

  • I like this better than the Eurythmics although "Missionary Man", "Would I Lie To You?" & "I Need A Man" are rockers.

  • Great performance!!...good to see Dave playing a Gretsch...it is bigger than him!!

  • My late condoleances,

I always found those three Tourists albums brilliant, shame he couldn't find the inspiration to go on after Lennox and Stewart left.Understandable though...when someone with such irreplaceable charisma as Lennox steps out, that leaves a big void. Although The Eurythmics were hugely succesful, I found The Tourists incarnation better.Anyway.... he left some good music behind,I still play those first two Tourists albums.

    All the best to you.

  • Saw them in Brid (or possibly Scarborough) on last Laugh tour - anmd was number 7 in the fan club. Peet created this - where the two famous ones found there feet. BUT Loneliest Man in the World is amazing.

They were absolutely brilliant live (looking back) - even the Beatles covers were great. And they didn't sound like anyone else - I was very sorry to hear of his passing -I gave their first album to a girlfirend - it had some great stuff - including this track.

  • oh and whats with Annies Vera Duckworth haircut?

  • hey Robin sorry to hear about your dad, i saw them at newcastle city hall feb 1980 and in sheffield also, they were good gigs, he was very underrated, all the best to you and your brother,

    miss u Peet, RIP

  • Nice 1 Jef..
