The professor adopts an easy approach to teach painting pinetrees and divides into three main steps: pine needles, trunks, and roots. There are several ways to paint or draw pine needles: round, wheel, half-wheel, and several other shapes. Many techniques used in painting are mutually related to Chinese calligraphy.

  • This was was such a lovely surprise to see the painter use a bad brush, I thought at first, and use it effectively to create the lovely pine tree! Reminds me of Mr Squiggle, a show I used to watch as a child. Thank you !
