No other equipment used. Some sounds that I have made using the onboard synth and the provided software. I also made the beat I use at the end using mozart 7 midi software and transfered it to the Casio :P

  • Is there any way to get the WK-3800 to be compatible with an Apple computer with a driver I can download from a site, or can I only use it with Windows-based software?

  • @WielderOfTheSteel I have no idea, I'm actually on a mac now, but haven't tried hooking up my Casio. My M50 was pretty much plug and play, no drivers required. Sorry.

  • Do you do requests?

  • @mChongbro Song requests or keyboard demostration requests? Please note that i currently don't have my casio set up a t the moment, check my newer vids ;)

  • hey m8 where did you download your sound from? ^^

i got also wk3800 and i bought it couse of you XDD i found some datas on casio site but not that much so you got other websites that i can download from there?

  • I made all the sounds myself on the keyboard, they are not available to download.

  • I have a WK-3800 but I can figure out how to use the recording function so I don't know how i can layer tracks. Can you help me out?

  • The Casio WK-3800 is a fantastic keyboard for anyone on a limited budget who wants a workstation/ arranger type keyboard but can't afford something like the Korg Triton or M50. It's got a wide selection of tones and although they are very Yamaha-like (i.e. boring) they can be tweaked and shaped using the MSDS that comes with a virtual sound module. The one thing I find limiting is it's ability as a MIDI controller- no MIDI In/ Out so it can't be used with other keyboards or rack synths.

  • I have two of these keyboards, that I use in my little home studio. The organ sounds on these beast are outstanding and thats how I have both of the boards set up ,sort of like a B-3 wanna be organ. All around I think these boards are a good alternative board compared to the more expensive synths on the market, excellent sounds and post you have there!!

  • one of the most underated instrument its abeast i have many casios they are fantastik

  • Great stuff dude.

Some really nice sounds and very well played.

    I totally dig Casio!

  • Thanks for the info! I'll try to find something. Maybe Yamaha offers some sort of driver that could be downloaded, or something. It's probably just a basic midi-driver that would be needed. Of course, I'm just assuming.

Thanks for the help, and keep up the good work!
