How'd you do the map shifting in 1:26?
-
Wait- I fixed it.

Hold up...
I was looking through my old projects (because I remember having a script like that) And found an old demo of VUMS, which I assume is VX Universal Message System. (Said so in the script. =P) I have a problem. Every other time I talk to the person, It goes back to the normal textbox. It might be an old version, but if you know how to fix the problem, please tell me. Hanks and sorry for the questions! I know you have more to do. Thanks =).

Hey, no problem. I was just wondering because Wortana''s Neo message system Pop-up script was just too...weird... anyways, thanks. Later. =D

how did you create that lantern, Johan?

@wortana I use a script called "PlayerPlus" with the light picture from the "Light Effects VX"-script. I do not use the actual light effects-script to use it, only the picture. Then a bit of eventing with a common event attached to an item to make it appear and disappear. Nowadays I use a button to make it appear/disappear, though.

I have a question..A lot of your maps have lights in them. How do you do that.Is this strictly a VX thing or can you do the same in XP and how?And speaking of maps you have a very good style when it comes to mapping would you ever bother doing a tutorial on mapping?

@gamesmaster35 It's a lighting script called "Thomas Edison VX", based upon a similar script made by a scripter called Kylock. Search for "Thomas Edison VX" on Google and you may find it.
When it comes to mapping, I don't think a tutorial can be made on my mapping style. I could make a tutorial on the different techniques that can help you improve your mapping but there are already mapping tutorials all around the RM community that covers everything you need to know.
