News report on Southampton's 3-1 win over Plymouth at Home Park which all but secures a promotion back to The Championship! Rickie Lambert and Ryan Dickson are the goal scorers for The Saints!
Plymouth Argyle 1-3 Southampton Home Park League One
So a couple of cocky teenagers means our fans are up themselves? Here's one for you, we could have mocked Argyle for being in administration - like they did to us on their forums when we went through the same thing but we didn't....
@JamieOWTS not starting a argument here but i preferred when when Newcastle got promoted down here because we joined them on the pitch and they were all very friendly and if that happened with the saints it would have turned into a big fight because of all the cocky teenagers you had down here
@VerticalProduction don't worry about that, the last 2 games between pompey and saints have been 8-2 on aggregarte. i 4-1 think we will beat them no problem. i think the score will be different. instead of 4-1 it will probs be 3-1 or 2-0 pompey. i hope argyle get promoted cause they been through alot of shit, relegated twice in 2 seasons and the possibility of going bust. isn't it funny how pompey, plymouth and saints had almost gone into financial meltdown! why only south coast teams lol?
@olliepfc94 Thanks :) and best of luck to you to. And could you do us a favour by beating the shit out of those saints fans because they were so up their own ass when they were down here and i think pompy need to put them back in their place.
@VerticalProduction yh but tht was only 1-0. saints beat plymouth 3-2 on aggregate, plus plymouth gt relegated and saints gt promoted. but im a pompey fan so i dnt really care, but gd luck next season
Yeah you too. It'll be tough for you but both Saints and Bournemouth have come back stronger from administration, no reason why Plymouth cannot do the same.
Saints always fail to win on the opening day. Last time we did was 12 or so years ago when we beat Coventry away so the first day is usually irrelevant!

Celebrating promotion makes supporters "up themselves". Least we didn't take over your pitch like Toon fans did....
