Dante's Inferno: Canto XXXIII

A short film covering the basic plot progression of Dante's Inferno over the course of Canto XXXIII, the second to last Canto in the work. Virgil and Dante meet Count Ugolino, who is gnawing on Archbishop Ruggieri's head for starving him and his four sons in a tower. They then meet Friar Alberigo, who tells them how he is imprisoned in Hell while a demon inhabits his body on earth. The outtake reel is hilarious.
