  • "Believe" is one meaning, not necessarily "in god". Most Chinese believe in Buddhism or Taoism. However, this character also means "Letter" or "mail". If he had the Chinese character "feng1" added after it he would have the word "envelope" tattooed on his neck.

In ancient China only criminals were tattooed. I would recommend that anyone considering tattooing a Chinese character or any foreign language, for that matter, on their body to do a lot more research. Tattoo's don't come off easily!

  • I've two tattoos

  • Fajny jest ;]

  • It's nice, but I think that "信" on it's own isn't going to represent your spiritual beliefs. It would probably man more if you modified it to say "我信教-" meanin "I believe in - " and then have god, or truth or something important to you.

  • No Tattoos

    Leviticus 19:28

"Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am YHWH "
