i just bypassed the stock boost regulator. it hit 20 psi if i pushed it real hard. usually ran about 18psi tho. was nice when i put a saab intercooler in it. made it a top mount like the wrx.

I will tell you the 2.3 will blow up with 26psi if it is not heavily modified. My buddy pushes 18-21psi with a big turbo and the only thing that is stock is the block.

With 26 psi, you're making less power than you would with 20 on the stock t3 turbo. Also, stock head gaskets don't like anything more than 18psi.
