This is why there is such a disconnect between military and non-military personnel. You people just dont get it- you think this song is epic because it hits all the cliches- soldiers raping vietnamese girls, killing women and children, burning down villages. Until you educate yourselves and realize than not every soldier was a rapist, murdered, plunderer, war will always be a rap song to you- get your head out of the clouds- soldiers are decent, honorable men. Enough with the cliches, please.

@1982Ak47 We don't think its impressive because its cliche, I think its impressive because the second verse is a true story and the fact that RA had the balls to tell his dads story like that (J. Thorburn is his dad), and I don't see this glorifying war at all myself. The song is about how war can change you and how it fucked up soldiers lives. I like it because its real, raw, and honest.
