  • 2500 euro at kg..

  • @puristthunder

It's a kind of fungus like a mushroom but not the same botanical family as a mushroom. OR It is a kind of chocolate that is rolled in cocoa powder so that it looks like the fungus.

If you want a surprise, look up white truffles. In 2008, a 2.2 lb (1kg) white truffle went for $200,000 US. I don't have hope that I'll be able to try white truffle. Not if it's that expensive.

  • wuts a truffle anyways?

  • @EmilyAnzalone0215 pigs are used, there much better at it, but try to take food away from a 100 lbs hog.

  • yes agreed that is the traditional way, but because the pigs like the truffles so much and they usually try to eat them, they found it easier to use dogs.

  • eat a BIG fresh truffle the effect is similar to a mild magic mushroom trip ,,why you think these chefs and posh cunts are mad for em ?

  • Bless you Emily for you are so young it makes my heart bleed. Do some research before you make assertions.

  • RabidLarmer, usually pigs are used to hunt for truffles, not dogs.
