A demonstration of a takedown from the kata Jitte.
Attacker strikes hidari jodan (left punch)
Defender steps back (left leg) and swats the punch away (left arm)
Right hand palm heel (to block second punch).
Strike face with step (right hand) under the chin so they look up (disorientation).
Keeping your hand near their neck get behind the attacker and strike palm heel to the kidneys or base of the spine.
Pull them back so they fall.
yeah, just nonchalantly walk behind your opponent while he stands still in oi-tsuki in the middle of the street or sidewalk or parking lot, alley-way... wherever... Real effective and realistic bunkai... Hahaha.

I think it's the part just after that part that looks like a starting position from the Pinan Kata, where you would move back and use your right hand to block a face punch. Either that or it's the first move of Jitte, where you step back and again, use the right hand.

Gotta check-out your fellow karatekas because your clip, like theirs, are on my favourites list.

The reason their techniques are week is because they are just going through the motions but not using any form or at least a low centre of gravity. Their techniques lack power because they have not done any MAKIWARA or punching bag training. Also the attacker should resist the attempt and the defender must resist the attack and counter-attack

haha, the downed guy hits your groin at the end. I dont want to be too mean but none of that stuff would work anyways, in addition to the techniques themselves being really weak and sloppy.
