This man changed my life. Made me realise that happiness comes from inside . seastarwatcher
Thanks for posting.

He really gives it to the great and the good of the UN with both barrels. They gave him a medal for his services to peace after this talk but apparently, K just went back to his room and brushed his teeth.

@gnasheroony Are you one of those idiots who always asked Krishnamurti himself "What do you mean? Can You explain this or that to me, like why am I not happy in my marriage?" He used to reply: "Why do you ask me? Why? Find out for yourself. You don't know me and I don't know you and I am not giving marriage counselling so if you don't want to listen, you will not change. Moving on..."

@AleksanderPieri Christians don't generally like Krishnamurti because of his honesty about the brutality of human beings, religions, war and the fact that future is now and will not be any different if humang beings do not change radically.

I like Krishnamurti and his philosophy. All these commnets are crazy and some are good. I follow the chinese proverb in this case: never write a letter while you are angry. So do you know when you are angry or not?

@edaweel Have you heard about U.G. Krishnamurti? I used to be addicted to Nisargadatta and all those great advaitins but after UG the whole thing was shattered in pieces, he makes even those guys sound so silly. But, please, don't put the blame on me after knowing about him, cos you'll never be able to back to the previous point again any more. You can start with the featured video of him on my channel. He was closer to Jiddu during his theosophical background but went a way further later.

@gnasheroony Honestly If you want to understand him you are going to have to put in the time,he has hundreds of videos (and its not easy to grasp,I have been reading him and others for twenty years and its very rewarding.Your statements about passive resistance and justice sound good but are flawed, they differentiate the observer from the observed.the people that are replying to your comments are not trying to pick a fight or criticise, its you that forms that image.Read K its worth it
-
@mrbrianmoran so honestly, tell me what he means. rather than just criticise without any substance
-
@gnasheroony youre not practicing peace by looking to start a fight with me so you are obviously not one to talk about it
-
@gnasheroony Im honestly not trying to have a go at you but from what you wrote you dont seem to understand K at all
-
we talk about peace but we blindly support war by paying taxes to the government which is used for war and weapons... we need civil disobedience but all of us are cynical and uncompassionate
can anyone recommend a Krishnamurti book. I see he has several and was wondering which one to get first?

@zeitgeistmonroe - I would recommend "Freedom from the known" & "The Only Revolution" They were the first books that I read, and were simple to understand.
Regards,
Andrew.
