@C0CK00 I look at all animals in a similar way & because of this have an insight that comes from being raised in the bush of Northern B.C. I don't think I'm their daddy but I am their creator it is just a name, better than Stan. What a dick wadd comment. Just for some insight on yourself I THINK YOU ARE A GENERAL ALL AROUND ASSHOLE & COULDN"T CARE WHAT YOU THINK. How do you like them for apples.

I had a wonderful girl pigeon once who liked to sit on my head. When I wore a hat she liked it even more. She would sometimes stand on the brim, bend over and stare into my eyes. I have not worn that hat since she died.

@Rallow I hear you. Darn I had almost forgot. Never should have flown her. The accipiters love white flights, reds, mealys.

At what age can I pull a baby homer from the nest and hand feed the bird to have has a pet not to race or 1,5 or 25 mile toss I want to have one has pet and keep it in the house or is that A bad idea ? Thank you for your time

Spot is only hand fed after weaning. In short not a good idea. I have hand fed squeakers out of necessity but I return them to loft as soon as possible. Squeakers may die of stress from such early removal as to be tame. The parent birds set them constantly. Also parents provide enough water & enzymes & bacteria we can't provide. To survive Raptors a bird must be in peak condition or is often picked off from loft. I have seen tamed birds though. They fly nicely to arm. I wouldn't, Toss

I pull at 15 days to hand feed and imprint, Spend lots of time bonding and take on car rides, around the house and yard and socialize with pets and people, Work on whissle and recall, End result a bird that you can free fly at park and call back on a dime, Im working with 3 youngsters to free fly now and a kit of 15 rollers to fly from the kit box

Sounds like fun. My birds are Racing Pigeons. Spot is just extremely friendly. I don't want my birds coming to me for food outside of loft as they need to trap rapidly. Early hand feeding in my opinion gives poor quality as a Racer as food lacks enzymes from parents crops.
