We tend to jump head first into situations just to escape the shame of being viewed as "single" , it actually gives us time to reflect on who we are, what we really want, less likely cling to people, out of fear of abandonment.. If women expect to find a meaningful, stable relationship, and maintain it, they must establish strong core self, from which to base their values and expectations, so they're secure their needs are being fully met.

also its sucks that society tells women that you cant buy a car, house, big bed or be happy until you find a man... or he finds you. "happily single" also means i am happy with God's gift of life. doesnt mean we dont want love. it means im happy. just happy.

I've never heard a woman say she doesn't want love. women say they prefer to be single because of the lack of love in every relationship they have. men who just want to control women. women want independence and don't want a man coming in and taking over their life. when women say "i don't need no man" they actually mean they need no dominance in their life, they're not saying they don't want love. single women want love, but it just seems like a fantasy, so they give up on love.
