Release date Feb 10 2012 - Strange Earth Records - From the album "Altered Steaks.

The YB's formed after a chance meeting of band members at a party in Seattle, Washington U.S.A in 2002. Originally called Moonchild, their music began taking on new elements of deep boogie and psychedelic exploration and they felt a name change was in order. They recorded the basic tracks for their debut album, 'Altered Steaks' at Avast studios and finished it at bass player/producer, Bryan Garfinkle's home studio. It became something of a cult classic and attracted the attention of Van Conner of Screaming Trees and Clint Werner of Seaweed, among others. It's finally receiving a proper release on Strange Earth Records in early 2012. YB's played local shows, opening for bands such as Valis and Bottom and did a brief West Coast tour ending with a show in Caspar CA opening for Aaron Stauffer's band The Blue Dot. Their music is influenced by such diverse bands as ZZ Top, Royal Trux, Tom Waits and many more.

Byl Cote (Guitar, Vocals), Matthew Vandenberghe (Drums) and Bryan Garfinkle (Bass, Vocals)
