@flbuddyok exactly! They tried to push him to go further but, they ruined him instead!

they p-layed this show after a 76ers game.Bubba John was the dj from MMR that intrduced Tommy and the band.Still sounds good today.I met Tommy Conwell at Chestnut Hill Hospital and had him sign my copy of "Walking On The Water"

Does any one remember how that dude used to sweat on stage. Saw them dozens of times in Philly/Ardmore. They rocked.

I'm 31, pride myself on listening to a lot of different kinds of music, not from the 215 but live here now...Heard this song today on MMR for the first time ever......frickin great....they dont make music like this anymore it seems like...

WMMR did a live radio broadcast one time that was unbelievable. You could not help but have a great time at a rumblers show. Saw them at the Ambler Cabaret when they were a three man band. He palys now at the Glenside Pub a lot of Saturday nights.

Agreed! I saw him a bunch of times in South Jersey, definitely one of the best live bans I have ever seen! The record company did ruin him, they did the same to the Hooters around the same time. Shame!
too bad the record company ruined this bands straight up rock and roll sound from the lp. Nice and raw with great guitar! The record company signs him FINALLY, and replace raspy vocals and lots of guitar with a bunch of over produced back-up vocals and keyboards. What a shame! Man was he a fun live show. That first record was so good. Lots of great memories from Hammerjacks (Baltimore),Stone Balloon (Del.) and Ocean City Md.
