  • what if the power went the power runs the water , no water no toilet , them metal barrels will be good to have , that and allot of diesel fuel

  • @PatriotRadioMilitia I'm in the country with a well and hand pump if need be... outhouse if it comes to that...

  • just a thought, if you lined your 55 gal drum with a 55 gal trash bag, took the toilet paper out of their individual packages and then placed them into the barrell i believe you could store alot more rolls in the drum without having to squish the rolls, may be worth trying

  • @jake05921 I might do that and see if it reduces it some... thanks

  • Toilet paper for when the SHTF :)

Why not food saver the toilet paper?, it's less than half the size and them storage bins aren't cheap.

My prepper tip of the day:

I keep that time of the month female products in my guest bathroom, when they need it they love you forever for having it.

  • @TheStevenLawrence Good points thanks

  • Waste of money! Phone books work great! cept gets a little stinky trying to read!...and leaves newsprint on yer hinney! But seriously....how about hanging things like this from ceiling in garages or barns? Dollar Tree store has awesome large zip closing bags....10 gal size clear plastic bags perfect for hanging things from ceilings or atic!...cept mice might use it for lining nest. I like the metal drums...we're in Oregon...aka Pacific North WET!

  • what I prep to save space are the baby wipes. They're wet, easy to store and I get them very cheap.

  • forget the freeze dried foods, i'm selling freeze dried water! :)
