@anarchosolar At what price? People repeating the speaker has them focusing on memorizing and repeating what the speaker says, timed in unison with others. That means far less focus on what is being said, and thinking critically/questioning it. I make a point of listening to every speaker for points of disagreement. This preserves intellectual independence and prevents falling into the trap of adopting problematic ideas. And it doesn't prevent agreeing w/that which is agreement-worthy.

@yrbabuena Its because they don't have a mic and is not allowed to use a mega-phone. So its called "Mic Check" the speaker will say something and the audience will repeat it back just to let the speaker know he/she was heard. This is done all over the country/maybe globally where protesters are occupying. Hope I was of some help to you.
