i got sloppy in a few places due to how i had to hold the guitar for the camera... no big deal. .it's practice so i don't really care. my style of playing is such that i can't really think about everything i'm doing -- i can't think that fast.
.the guitar is an old (date on the label: 11-24-62) Takamine [about 6 months after they started making guitars]... so, from their first year in production! In about 1988, this particular guitar was restored by Randy Barrow in Tim's Guitar Workshop (Baton Rouge) after having been strung with steel strings by some "surfer dude from mali-boo". It's one of the best i've ever laid my hands on and you'll probably have to pry it out of my cold dead hands. the current state of the finish is something of a tragedy involving a wickedly hot august in louisiana and having to keep it in my van that week... i love the way the instrument sounds, so it's not likely i will tamper too much with it... i will probably end up putting a clear "pick guard" on it to alleviate that raspy brushing sound i make with my little finger which i tend to use to "sense" the position of my hand over the strings.
@xINuke13 Thank you very much! As for the raspy sound - when I'm playing, I really don't hear it as starkly as the mic picks it up -- if at all :)

I personally like the raspy sound... it gives it a 'heart beat's so to speak. :) Amazing playing BTW.
