To Obama and anyone else who wants to exlude the Word of God from everything. This is what you do; When you take the Ten Commandments out of the courts, take them out of the courts for real. Without the Ten Commandments your courts and laws would be erased. There would be total chaos. Society would be in ruins. How do you measure a thing to be right or wrong? Who gave you the standard in which to live by? Without the God of the bible, the God of Jews and Christians,yuwudnotnohowtolive­! CHECKMATE

Since the Ten Commandments have nothing whatever to do with our laws (except the three that we also uphold: don't murder, steal, or bear false witness), it would make absolutely no difference. It doesn't take a genius to know that murder, theft, and perjury are counterproductive to a healthy society. Really. Go ask a sociologist. The Bible has no part in the discussion and never has.

By the way, WHICH set of 10 commandments do you refer to? There are two, you know.

All Christians pick and choose. It's called "cherry-picking." If they didn't pick and choose they would have to do all sorts of crazy things, such as stone to death those they love, sacrifice animals on altars, donate EVERYTHING they own to the church so it can be distributed among the members evenly (communism, anyone? See Acts 5), spend 7 days in a tent outside the city after an inadvertent wet dream, and refrain from eating shellfish, such as lobster, crab, and shrimp.
