@raedenjay yes my work has brought me to the Canadian border with the United States in Montana and North Dakota and there is a fair amount of REAL American Southern Bluegrass Music there. However, Korn Field Kounty, Kentucky still remains the CENTER of American Southern Bluegrass Music just as the CENTER of the known College Basketball Universe is located in Lexington, Kentucky at Mid Court of Rupp Arena. ;-}}

@SocratesTheGadfly It's not just in the south, it's more so in country/bluegrass music. Up in Canada, people who play country type music, refer to it as a fiddle.
