I heard from my RV guy that the most common cause of RV fires are people forgetting to turn there gas heaters (water/cabin) OFF. Something about an open flame in a moving vehicle.

Propane is dangerous, and very few people inspect the lines and connections.

I here you there! They'd rather build them quickly and get their money, than build them with quality...
I have a travel trailer i bought back in '02 and everything is just so shoddily put together it's ridiculous...I spend more time fixing it than relaxing in it! lol

The scary thing is that most of these factory assembled rvs are all put together the same way. Cheap, they put everything on the floor first and then build the walls around them and then the roof. When they put the siding on you got to wonder how many times they have stuck a nail right in to some wiring or at least close enough that it eventually rubs through. It is sad that they are aloud to build them this way and even worse a stick and staple rv is aloud to be driven on the highway.
