Snow Storm on Ocean Ave Long Branch 3 Mar 09

A ride along the board walk this morning to show the snow storm that closed most schools in the county and most municipal buildings. The amazing thing here is seeing West End Beach 5 times wider than I've EVER seen it. The Fall reclamation of the beach is amazing. Heaven knows I knew nothing about this, even living two blocks from the water, Knew they were working, but wow! I didn't recognize the beach. The jetties are gone! (Actually, they've been busried beneath sand. Let's see what it'll be like in 5 months when the tourists roll in to laze in the sun.

Addendum: Am writing this 6 hours later at 6 in the morning. Am amazed that this video already has 62 views. And not today, schools are closed for another day. Temps in the single digits. Guess this is a SERIOUS storm!
