Keith Olbermann, along with Newsweek's Richard Wolffe and Col. Jack Jacobs (Ret.) discuss why Britain is pulling out of Basrah. The White House says it's because Basrah's secured...even though the official current designation says otherwise. During this segment, the news of Congress' plan to reverse Bush's war powers came across.
Agreed. It absolutely would be unfair for him to endanger the lives of his fellow soldiers as a special target.

I wouldnt want Harry to go to Iraq. Simply because he would be the most prized target in all of Iraq. He would risk the lives of hundreds of soldiers, it was stupid to even think of sending him there.

You watch, the Blues and royals will be one of the first regiments to leave... I think it's amazing people think Harry will set his boots on the ground in Iraq still. He won't and I think it will be announced after enough time to deny a link between the decision to leave and a grandmother protecting her grand son

I welcome a British pull-out. In fact as a Brit i'm hoping relations will sour between the UK and the US as a result of a UK pull-out because I totally disagree with the Iraq war and the Bush administration.
