Ah..."green" technology doesn't make anyone rich but those that invested in the Chicago Climate Exchange...like Gore and Goldman Sachs. Stupid Sheeple...
If you eliminated ALL electrical, ALL fossil fuel, ALL fire of any kind from ALL of the earth, for the next 50 years...it wouldn't change the temp. a full degree. Stupid Sheeple.

Believe anything that makes your little heart content.
The whole global warming is such a scam that they had to rename it "Climate Change".
We humans are little ants, that have very little power over anything. If you really want to waste your time with such nonsense, be my guest.

What I love about your ilk is that you never address reality. Here is a taste of reality for you. NO ONE, not even you, is going to unplug a single device. In fact, you should count on energy consumption to double in the next ten years. Faced with that, tell me what your friends at Harvard and MIT suggest we do about it? Pissing and moaning about it will solve nothing. Go wring your hands with your drum circle buddies until you have a legit plan of action about this topic.

@bowlingballout I believe that just as 97% of the scientists who proved that climate change is real your are also a Harvard, MIT, Berkeley etc scientist. right? And btw, it was republicans who renamed it climate change just before big oil paid them millions.

@Lorax4Life Its not the warming part, its the man-made warming part most people don't agree with.
Must be so comforting to believe that we can pump trillions of tons of previously fossilized carbon into the atmosphere with no ill effects on climatic stability. Great, too, that espousing such a ridiculous belief dovetails perfectly with the interests of the most powerful & entrenched political forces in the world. If you're articulate and willing to lie, you can even get a $40 monthly check from Burson-Marsteller for raising doubts about established science on public fora like this. Win-win!

Win-Win indeed that mouthbreathers (that's you and your ilk) think for one minute that a single human being is going to unplug a single gadget, much less turn back the clock to 1880. When we both know only more energy is going to be used as everyday passes. Instead of carping about something you have no control over, try adapting or dying out like the dinos did.

@bowlingballout I'm quite sure we will use every last barrel of oil we can find -- even even if it costs more than a barrel of oil to extract it. I've never denied that reality. But the rank dishonesty and deception involved in climate change denial is still pretty difficult to stomach, and bodes ill for humanity's capacity to adapt.

At least now we're on the same page. This subject has been in the forefront of the news, with all the hand wringing to go along with it since the late 1980s. I think I'd rather listen to Jehovah's Witnesses tell me their Armageddon is coming than hear about GW. What is real, is our incessant polluting and the over population of the Earth. Far before the Sun kills us, we'll take ourselves out... one way or another.
