@kaizerzydeco By modern standards in North America this is not that bad. What lacks here is the overhead catenary, which would allow quick acceleration for commuter trains.

@supertouring The tracks have been even further improved now!...Its even smoother and faster. Many 100/mph zones now on that stretch.

95 MPH for the most part between toronto Union and Aldershot.

@PatrickTomaszewski10 : Aldershot is in the other direction. CN Rail speed limit is 110-130mph.

Aldershot is just past Oakville. CN Rail speed limit is 110 - 130mph!...wow....I guess all the track work they just recently did paid off.
