This is the 35mm Darkest Hour "Sound the Surrender" done for Victory records. I don't even know where I came up with the idea for a band playing a masquerade ball. The bathroom scenes were my ode to Japanese horror which I had been watching a lot of at the time and Saw. During the shoot the camera broke and I nearly had a heart attack. We some how jury rigged it to get us through the production. Also we shot this video on Panavision lenses which is a hell of a process. This is my second music video to cameo conrad brooks from ed wood plan 9 from outter space fame.
