Guiding Light Tribute - Hold On To Love

As the light dims (sorry for the cheesy pun), I threw something together to show some of the more memorable relationships on the show. This is clearly not everyone and a lot are form the 80s/90s, which is my favorite era. I'll probably do a more extensive one later, but wanted to get this out there in time for the end.

The song is "Hold on to Love" which was the theme in the early 90s. This version was actually sung at Blake and Ross' wedding, hence the less-than-stellar quality (the audio was taped on a cassette from the TV years ago). But, I liked this version. I don't know the singer's name.

I'm too lazy to list every character shown, so if you don't recognize someone, comment and I'll try to respond ASAP.

Don't know. It was pulled from the show, so I doubt there's an official version somewhere. This was just a woman singing it at Blake and Ross' wedding. Glad you like it though!

Thanks for posting!! Great photographs of a great show!! Really going to miss it!! Thinking of forming GLA *Guiding Light Anonymous" for all of us with an hour extra during the day!! Not going to watch whatever they put in its place--Hope they have no ratings for that time slot!!

Will never get over the cancellation of "The Light". . .Procter & CBS made a HUGE mistake in deliberately killing this American institution. . .may they suffer the same fate!!!

It IS going to be the first network daytime game show to premiere since 1993(CAesar's Challenge on NBC), and the first CBS daytime schedule change since cancelling Daytime Family Feud in 1993(it aired at 10AM EST, and the time went back to the local stations, many of which preempted the 10AM show with local or syndicated programming anyway), and the first change in the 11AM-4PMEST lineup on CBS since Bold and Beautiful premiered in March 1987.
