This LIVE televised debate between candidates for a seat on the Eureka School Board took place on October 26, 2001 at the Access Humboldt Community Media Center studio in Eureka, CA.

Appearing was Susan Johnson, candidate for the Trustee Area 4 seat. Incumbent Judy Anderson refused to participate after demanding changes to the debate format.

This debate was moderated and staffed by members of the Redwood Chapter ACLU Board of Directors, including Xandra Manns as moderator, Parke Bostrom as teleprompter operator and Steve Bridenbaugh as question-sorter.

The technical side of the debate was produced by the Humboldt Sentinel, including Charles Douglas as Producer and David Giarrizzo as Floor Director.

The Redwood ACLU presents these forums for local election contests for educational purposes. The ACLU never supports or opposes candidates for public office.
