A riderless horse with riding boots in the stirups placed backwards. Drums covered in black with the drum heads muffled. At Noon every person in every city throughout the nation, every car,
every buisness, stopped for 5 long minutes. 50 U.S. Air Force jets plus
Air Force One fly over head. People came from every part of the nation.
Heads of State from every part of the World. Then the cannons fired their salute to our fallen President and
our Nation.

I remember the day and the days after almost as if they were yesterday. I got to see a nation mourning deeply. No, not the United States; I was in Frankfurt, Germany and I saw the entire German nation weeping for a dead American President. Those of us who are that old can still tell you where they were and what they were doing when they heard the news. It was the first time I was ever issued my basic combat load on an alert.

This artistic interpretation of the funeral of JFK is enormously affecting. A beautiful elegiac video of tremendous import and impact.
The video of Mrs. Connally who was in the car at the time of the assassination is incredible. Her hands tell the story. Also, Pres. Ike & Truman, and all the others from around the world. Thank you

not to worry...both comments fit the vid in the strangest of ways. my mom told me 2 minutes after they announced J.F.K. had been killed on TV i crawled out of the bedroom with blood all over my hands & face from cutting myself climbin out of the crib...
