@mackychris24 yeh its a 600, usually people jump on them then go to 1000, i've ridden 600s for a long time and just love the handling. always wear a helmet man!

those are fun ass bikes. i have a 2007 and love it to death. but i was curious at what you had all done to that bike? that pipe didnt exactly look stock.

it had some no name slipon that post a few hundred. that is literally all that was done to the bike. then i wrecked it, some douche pulled out in front of me. about to sign on a bigger one tho, an r1. should have it saturday

Your right I have never been over 190, 150 is the fastest I have ever gone on mine. No, sustained high speed does not interest me, it's fun a few times but then gets boring. I would rather hone my skills in the turns where it counts. Any one can crack the throttle in the straights.

I have gotten my 06 R6S to 172 mph indicated speed but you have to remember the speedo discrepency on these is pretty large. Next time use GPS and see how fast you really are going. And I agree with a previous poster, the corners are where the real riders can carry speed. Any squid can hold on and twist the throttle.

i hav an 08 r6s completely stock cept for the turn signals and fender eliminator and i got up 2 bout 164-165 and it want redlining but it sure as hell not goin any faster lol

I had mine at 170...have the 2,000 dollar lawyer fee, the helicopter and the police record to prove it ;)
