  • Thank you, thank you, thank you for your bravery. Our ancestors are thanking you; much blessings and continued success.

  • Big up all dem rudebois in Bluefields, Corn Islands, Bilwi, and Pearl Lagoon, Nicaragua.

  • I just love seeing racists speaking with an afro-hispanic dialect or dancing samba, salsa, cumbia, bomba, etc. Many latinos I come accross here in California do not know about African history and present in Latin America, but truthfully they don't really know anything about Latin America besides the sexist, biased, racist, glossed over non-sense they get from Spanish language & English language media. Even many Latin American studies programs are inadequate in teaching african & native history.

  • What is the defenition of Afo-descendant? I believe it is anyone of African descent; from 1-100% Black, however is anyone of visible of African descent. Why does it matter? Because Afro-descendants ARE NOT A MINORITY IN LATIN AMERICA. Basic math would tell you so. Brazil is the largest and most populous country in Latin America and has the largest number of Blacks and Afro-descendants outside of Africa.

Actually, I don't mind so much that so-called "Latinos" want nothing to do with us. What I do mind is that not only are we ignored and written out of history, but our culture is stolen and called European/Latino. It seems like Spanish language t.v. cannot mention blacks without mentioning slavery. Natives were slaves too. But they are ignored more so than blacks. Should we call whites thieves & murderers?

  • Black + Brown = Some powerful shit this world may not be ready for but damn sure needs!

  • It's about time. So many still don't want anything to do with Africa but love there're European Slave Masters! Very well done!

  • its about time what took us so long to do thissssssssss

  • i'm poor nurse of garifuna/black carib origin working in the usa and I will be donating every penny I have to this project!!!

  • I'm crying for this video
