History Flow (U.S. History through 1877)

Students wrote and recorded this "flow" to help their classmates study for an upcoming state history exam. This video is really only intended to be an audio clip [student's pointed the camera at the table so we wouldn't have a problem (legally) posting online].

(Don't mind the school bell that ring's during the filming of this video!)

In 1607 they founded Jamestown
Yup, it's in Virginia, the people stay down
They got diseases, you know it comes around
Yeah, they need help, and it will be found
Gold is the reason, yes sir, please
Ima bring government, House of Burgesses
Life is a mountain, Ima keep climbing,
And yes, I believe it was 1619
There were people, and, yup, they believe in this,
It was self-government, representative

Man, I'm taxing people, just like Ima tariff.
