An early version cut to Jackie Curtis singing "My Lucky Star" accompanied by Paul Serrato on the piano which I videotaped on May 31, 1974 during the fabulous "Cabaret in the Sky: an Evening with Holly Woodlawn and Jackie Curtis". See my DVD releases here:

  • Just watched SIAH again tonight and his death brought tears to my eyes. Thank you Craig for doing such a lovely job!

  • @TRETNYC Wow, thank you so much! So nice to hear people are watching and enjoying it

  • The theatrical release, broadcast version and DVD use Jackie Curtis singing Paul Serrato's "Who Are You" a fabulous love song Jackie sang to Candy Darling in his hit play "Vain Victory". Note that many of the visuals and stills are different and not in the released version of my film!

  • It is very true (as said in your book) that JC was the most cerebral when compared to Candy Darling & Holly Woodlawn. I wonder what JC would think of the 'drag' world today. Yes, it is more mainstream....but there is NO freshness to be found (or at the very least, EXTREMELY little).

  • " Now that's gay , in the truest , sense of the word . "

  • Awesome! Thank you so much :)
