"Tithe" is a one-tenth part of something, paid as a (usually) voluntary contribution or as a tax or levy, usually to support a Jewish or Christian religious organization. Today, tithes (or tithing) are normally voluntary and paid in cash, cheques, or stocks, whereas historically tithes could be paid in kind, such as agricultural products. Several European countries operate a formal process linked to the tax system allowing some churches to assess tithes.

Tithing is great but I don't understand why Christians are still stuck on the whole 10% thing? Tithing is an Old Testament thing gut Giving is a New Testament thing. Give all that you can even if it is more than 10%. Also, be good stewards of your money. Do not give money to churches that are being foolish in their spending.

No, it is a priviledge to give a portion of what God has given us, back to Him. Salvation is free to anyone that accepts Jesus as their personal Savior. Tithing is a part of the growing as a believer.

Awesome truth share with humor and much laughter! It is so clear that GOD is trying to teach simple principles like tithing for our benefit...how would a farmer ever have any harvest if he didn't plant seed?

Great video! We should all strive to be reverse tithers! My husband and I had tithing "issues" when we were first married but I was the one holding on too tight. We have been blessed so much, and provided for more than adequately. God Bless!
