All audio was manipulated in some shape or form - transposed, cut-up and time-stretched to fit the song. That being said, it is still remarkable how closely the new Muse single blatantly quotes this material. I am a huge Muse fan; however this is a side of them that I am not quite as fond of.

When I first heard this song, Billy Idol and Blondie instantly came to mind. I love that you did this!

The Dr. Who theme is heavily doctored (pardon the pun).  It's not in fact that similar to the Muse melody. However, I'd heard a lot of people drawing comparisons so I decided to try and make it work.

People on here do realize that almost everything on The Resistance is taking the piss, right? Muse says that themselves. What's funny is they won the Grammy for it (which I'm sure they had an excellent laugh about) If you really want to listen to Muse then listen to another album. The Resistance is just a good laugh plus a symphony and a song called MK Ultra. Anyway, nice video :D As a Muse fan who always found Uprising a bit boring, this was very funny.

You know Blondie is actually touring a mashup of Call Me and Uprising? it's essentially just her lyrics over the instruments, but it fits really well.
