  • There are only a few tuners outside Japan that can put so much focus on total balance rather than just power. To make the engine output 300 more horsepower from stock and still make it handle better is the Japanese tuning trademark.

  • Him and all the other touge legends are correct and exact in the feelings for cars. Its only right to buy a car they recommended.

  • Tarzan Yamada tells it like it is. You may want to deny it, but the only way to move forward is to accept it.

  • In America, we get our car tuned by a garage junkie in the shop. In Japan, they get their cars tuned by engineers in a lab. Hrmmm, I may need to reconsider my tuner.

  • @XenoRacing

    He's crawford's sti official driver

  • Adaptability is not limitation. It means power of resistance and assimilation. Finally American companies are starting to learn that, tuners have been trying for awhile but get lost in looks along the way... check the new Honda trend of muliti coloured gay rims lol! But Tarzan is cool and insightful, Americans just need to be less full of pride and learn more from the Japanese and they may just become as good.

  • Driving Sports has the worst subtitles I have ever seen.

  • that is some deep stuff.. coz when you really think about it, putting all status and all this patriotic japan American BS. north-American tuners most of the time, they don't really put a lot of thought onto the suspension and the overall balance of things. but in japan, the early pioneering drifters/tuners they dont have the most powerful engines, but have their suspension really tuned... tarzan speaks deep real truth

  • lol interesting how he has domestic sponsors, anyone know what AlpineStars and Crawford supply him with or how they became his sponsors?

  • I agree with Tarzan, having a balanced car is one of the best things in the world. The US has only three cars that compete on an international level and win (Viper, Corvette, GT40) without any modifications. You have to have your head on right when you drives these cars on the street or the track.
