I wish they would stop glamorizing the medical field. There's nothing glamorus and exciting about working with sick people. You really have to have a strong stomach to work in the medical field.
I agree with the other two posters. These commercials are just too good to be true. Besides experience, I believe that you have to have industry-approved training.
Investigate before you invest.

I couldn't agree with MORE! Unfortunatly I fell for the KoolAid & after wasting 9 months of my life I then find out EVERYONE'S LOOKING FOR NURSES, NOT MEDICAL ASSISTANTS!!!

No you can't! It sounds all good when you see these kind of comercials on tv, but the cruel reality is...IN THE MEDICAL FIELD, NOBODY WANTS YOU UNLESS YOU HAVE 4 YEARS EXPERIENCE MINIMUM. I should know, I graduated as a Vocational Nurse...NOT ONE DAMN JOB OFFER!!! Don't waste your time, do something else.
